The Christmas Spirit

I have had a hard time getting into the Christmas Spirit this year. It seems as though Christmas has been replaced by worldly wants then the true meaning of Christmas. If you click on the link below and watch this short video clip it will remind you of what Christmas is really all about.
Merry Christmas Everyone!!

Thank You!

Thank You

We want to thank all of the men and women serving our country. Thank you for the sacrifices you make to protect our Freedom.

Taylor had the wonderful opportunity to march in the Veterans Day parade on Wednesday. I get teary eyed when I see all the veterans walk down the street with smiles on there faces and the joy they must feel knowing their service was for the good of our country. May God Bless America always.

We Just finished another cold but fun soccer year. My kids are really getting into this sport and I am glad because it keeps them fit and it's fun to watch. Glen coached Jessica's team this year and he had a lot fun doing it, I think his team really liked him,( he is an easy guy to like) He promised Jessie a dollar for every goal she made, she got 4 goals this season.
Luke did more running around then kicking the ball but thats ok, he says he is the fastest runner on the team and he is right. Glen promised him a quarter for every time he kicked the ball, he got 2 dollars this season. Megan started playing on a full field this year and quickly learned that it is a lot bigger than what she is used to. I really hope she tries out for the school team next year.

Who Needs a Truck!!
Glen is always saying we don't need a truck and I think he might be right since he fit two 14' 2x6 boards and ten 8' 2x6 boards in the van. But I think deep down inside he would love a truck.

If you're wondering what we did this summer.
This has been by far the busiest summer in the history books for our family. We visited our family and friends in Utah, went to the lake with Glens brothers family, hung out with lots of good friends, bought a house, went to the temple, walked in a parade and threw candy and frisbees, moved into our new house with wonderful friends who sacrificed an entire day and not to mention some sore muscles, started brand new schools, and have finally settled down and are getting into a normal routine. This is one summer we will never forget!
Bought a new house, moved in, started new schools,
made new friends, celebrated with Andre(our agent),
and tried out the new tub all on the same day!

I know it has been a very long time since I have blogged and I have so much to share but I only have time for a little bit tonight.
I have so much to be thankful for. I love my family so much. Glen and I have really struggled to know where to settle down, we have sincerely prayed about our decision to stay in Maine and we know this is where we belong right now. We have very supportive parents and siblings. We are buying a house here and are very excited and I think we finally are settling down and can now call Maine home.
I also have so many pictures from our vacations I want to share but have had no time to post anything. I do want to share these 2 pictures, These are of the new Oquirh Mountain Temple in SLC, it will be dedicated in August. We had the opportunity to go to the open house, this first picture reminded me of stepping stones and how we are always climbing to reach the top but sometimes the way is rough and difficult to climb but we can do it if we know what the reward is in the end. My eternal family is the 2nd picture and I am reminded every day how much I love them.

More posts to come soon!(I hope)

New Summer Look For my girls
I took the girls to get a haircut last Saturday and boy do they ever look  cute.  It's
so refreshing to look at clean cut instead of straggly and messy, I love it.

OK this makes me want to put a clip in those bangs so they're not hanging in her face.  but she has made it work and it's way cute.
