Harsh Punishment!
Luke is in a habit of seeing what he can get away with, well he doesn't realize that moms know everything and that there is a consequence for every action (peeing in the garbage can). He didn't like this consequence.

Veterans Day 2010
Our family is full of veterans, I'm so proud of each of them for serving our country. I am so proud of my son who is following in the footsteps of his Father, Grandfather, Uncles and Cousins who have fought for our freedom. I am proud to be an American.

Taylor is somewhere in the middle of his ROTC group.

Halloween 2010
Halloween this year turned into a 3 day celebration for us. We kicked it off with our adult halloween party, the theme for costumes was come as your favorite childhood tv star, Glen and I were Mike and Carol Brady from the Brady Bunch. It was so much fun seeing the different costumes. On saturday we took the kids to pumpkins in the park which was great to see the different things you can carve pumpkins into. Then of course the annual trunk or treat. We finished off halloween with good old fashion trick or treating in the neighborhood. Our neighbor next door dressed up as a ware wolf and scared the kids, it was actually pretty funny. Jessica still says Mom Linda really scared me.

Fall
I love fall, it is my favorite time of year. I love to bring out the fall colors in my house, go pumpkin picking, bake apple crisp, carve pumpkins and most of all stay inside my cozy house and work on fun projects that I have been waiting for time to do all summer.

Fabulous Summer!!
Our summer began with the celebration of lukes 6th birthday. Then the preparations began for our long summer of visitors. Taylor tended to the outdoor fun by putting together a basketball hoop. Then the fun began with the arrival of my sisters family. We played to our hearts content, we went to the beach, lighthouse, lake, and of course hiking Cadillac mountain and kathadin. We had plenty of lobster dinners for all of our visitors. My sisters family ventured home and we awaited the arrival of Glens sister Jan, following Jan we had a visit from my parents, followed by Glens brother and his family. Wow!
Of course our summer didn't end there. I have so many great pictures I can't possibly post them all so these are just a few. More pictures to come of our summer.

Strike a Pose!!
We went for a little hike to Bald Mountain on sunday in search for things to do when my sister comes. We had a lot of fun. The day was beautiful and perfect.

don't you love this tree.
Taylor thought it would be cool to make it look like he is hanging on for dear life. I have to admit it kind of does.
Of course luke had to get in on the action.

May is a great month for me but tough on Glen. He has to plan for Mothers Day, My Birthday and our Anniversary! Poor Guy. He did a great job this year, he always gets the kids involved on every holiday and makes sure they remember to give me a hug and kiss. He planned a very fun BBQ with friends for my birthday, he tried to make it a surprise but it just wasn't working out right and finally asked for my help. We BBQ, watch the kids play bad mitten and roasted marshmallows over a camp fire. Below is a collage of Kids since we have 3 times more kids than adults.
I love my husband, we will be married 16 years on May 27th and it has been a very good 16 years. LOVE YOU!!!

Twirling season ended May 16th! Megan, Jessica and Alana had a great time and learned many tricks with a baton. Here are a few pictures from there recital. The Pictures at the bottom are with Megan, one of the instructors, she is a senior in high school and has been twirling since she was 6 yrs old. She is fantastic, she can twirl 3 batons at one time, it was amazing to watch.

Finally!! a chance to blog. We have so many pictures from our trip to Disney World it is impossible to post everything. It was so fun to meet our friends from Utah and Maine there. We stayed 3 nights in Maryland with Glens brother and had a nice time relaxing. We went to the national zoo, historic downtown Annapolis, and then out for yummy ice cream. We finally reached our destination in florida and took a day at the resort and let the kids swim and relax before our very long week in the parks. I was so exhausted when we got home I needed another vacation to recover. Anyway here are a few pics from our trip.
